Money Back Guarantee

Not sure if diving is for you? Dont worry if you get to the pool and figure out diving isn’t for you, we’ll refund the remainder of your course fees.

How do you learn to dive

There are a few ways to learn to dive in Melbourne. We generally do a three day course, however you can do a four day course if you choose the traditional text book study option rather than the online theory.

The three day learn to dive course is split up below.

Home study and introduction to the Dive Shop

Study in your own time online. Your theory is done online whenever is convenient for you. Once you’ve paid a deposit, we’ll email you with a PADI e-learning access pass so you can get started right away. Once you’ve finished the online study we bring you into the shop to size up for some gear and then move onto the pool.

Day 1

Into the pool!  We begin at 9:00am and finish around 4:00pm.

You will practice the skills in the shallow water to get you ready for the beach.

Breathing underwater for the first time is something you’ll never forget!

Day 2

Now we head to the beach doing two shore dives, going over the skills you’ve practiced in the pool and checking out what the local pier dives have to offer.

We usually use Rye or Portsea Piers to practice off the shore.

Day 3
Let’s go diving off the boat! This is where you really see something special taking you to some exciting places around the bay.

The Pier dives in Melbourne are great however the boat dives are awesome! We design our courses to run from the shore and boat to give you the best experience and allow you to dive anywhere around the world after certification.

After day three you’ll have the opportunity for another pier dive with the rest of your group and a guide. The whole course is designed for two weekends of fun and prepares you to dive after the course and join us on our club dives. The club dives are run during the week and weekends, both from shore and boat.

If you choose the four day option, all that changes is the theory part.

PADI eLearning
If you choose the PADI eLearning option (like most people do) you can save yourself a day in the classroom by studying at home. In order to do this either email or call our friendly staff and begin your theory right now at home. Once you are ready, we’ll arrange a date and time to conduct your pool training, beach and boat dives.
