- Day 1 - You will spend today in the classroom going over the knowledge reviews that you completed at home, and learning the basic concepts you need to keep you safe when scuba diving. Your instructor will make sure you have the required level of knowledge in order to continue with your training.
- Day 2 - It's time to put on the scuba gear! Today you'll head to the pool and be introduced to breathing underwater. You'll learn the skills that are necessary to keep you safe on your course ocean dives and during your own diving.
- Day 3 - It's time to say g'day to those seahorses! You will do two dives today under Rye or Portsea Pier. It's a perfect training environment about 5m deep and has some spectacular life living around its pylons.
- Day 4 - Today you will do a boat dive from Portsea. The sites is usually Portsea Hole or Pope's Eye, though may change depending on conditions. You'll go a little deeper today, which will prepare you for doing your own diving after the course. After your boat dive you will do another pier dive, so keep a lookout for the weedy seadragons.
That's it! After day 4 you will be certified to dive to 18m with a buddy, anywhere in the world! If you want to continue your training from here, it's time to go on to the PADI Advanced Open Water Course where you will be given an introduction to navigation, deep and other types of diving.
