Things are changing... PADI has released a Rescue Adventure Dive that can be completed as part of your Advanced Open Water course.
At Aquatic Adventures we believe everyone should be taught rescue skills and it would seem PADI agrees with us. Our goal is to create a world of safe, conservative divers.
In this light Aquatic Adventures will be offering the PADI Rescue Adventure dive to any Open Water or Advanced Open Water diver on this date as an intro to rescue diving.
Here is how the day is run: 9am meet at the shop for theory component 11:30am head to pool 12:30pm enter the water and run through the following exercises: Self rescue, Tired diver, Panicked diver, Response from shore/boat and missing diver.
Now the important part... Cost The grand total for this whole day of fun is $10 per person. Yes that is not a typo $10 per person to cover your pool entry fees.
This is a one time offer and subject to limited numbers. Also note that this is not the complete Rescue Diver Adventure Dive. All exercises would need to be assessed in the ocean for that. However the exercises can be credited to part of your Rescue Diver course.
