At Aquatic Adventures we have tailored our PADI Open Water Diver course to offer you the best opportunity to become and competent and confident diver.  We prioritise safety above all else, and for this reason all our courses have a minimum of 2 Dive Professionals running them, and we choose our Open Water training dive locations to ensure that you can learn comfortably, whilst also having lots of fun.

  • Thursday - Evening theory review session, in-store at Aquatic Adventures

  • Saturday 1 - Confined water pool training

  • Saturday 2 - Open Water shore dive training

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

Become certified...a 3-Stage process:

THEORY - At Aquatic Adventures we use PADI's eLearning Online program.  Designed so that you can learn the academics at your own pace, when it is convenient for you to do so, you complete the academic section of your course online.  After finishing the eLearning there is a "theory review" session at our store in Rowville where your Instructor will be happy to help you with any theory based questions you may have.

POOL TRAINING - In-water training begins with confined water pool training. Your instructor will help you put into practice the techniques you learned about in the academics program, and make sure you are comfortable and competent in your scuba equipment. Working in the calm and safe waters of a swimming pool, your training dives will be logged and approved by your instructor before you move on to diving in open water.

OPEN WATER TRAINING - Open Water training dives are where you put the skills you learned in the pool into practice in the "real world" and are able to discover the excitement and enjoyment of exploring the underwater world. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor you will be a certified diver. PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide so your diving experiences will be limitless.
